A meeting of the Division to be known as the Regular Meeting shall be held each year. This meeting shall include a Business Session devoted exclusively to the reports of Officers and committees, and to the transaction of business affairs.
The Regular Meeting shall be held at least every 3 years jointly with a meeting of the Society.
The Program Committee shall be responsible for organizing the scientific programs of the Division.

LAD events include sessions on integrating atomic theory and laboratory experiments for astrophysics, next-generation laboratory plasma diagnostics, and PAHs and ices in the ISM, as well as the LAD plenary talk, iPosters, mentoring and career counseling, and the LAD business meeting.

IAU Commission 14: Atomic & Molecular Data coordinated their efforts to hold a joint meeting at the IAU XXIXth General Assembly in the form of a
Focus Meeting to help bridge Laboratory Astrophysics and Astrochemistry with Astronomy by bringing together expert data providers and data users of laboratory and astronomical data. The joint meeting was held 3-5 August 2015, Honolulu, HI.
