A meeting of the Division to be known as the Regular Meeting shall be held each year. This meeting shall include a Business Session devoted exclusively to the reports of Officers and committees, and to the transaction of business affairs. The Regular Meeting shall be held at least every 3 years jointly with a meeting of the Society. The Program Committee shall be responsible for organizing the scientific programs of the Division.
Upcoming Meetings: 2026: LAD will host several sessions at the 248th AAS Meeting, June 14 – 18, 2026 in Pasadena, CA. LAD events include sessions on integrating atomic theory and laboratory experiments for astrophysics, next-generation laboratory plasma diagnostics, and PAHs and ices in the ISM, as well as the LAD plenary talk, iPosters, mentoring and career counseling, and the LAD business meeting.
